Today

I'm struggling with an assignment for work. I'm having a hard time focusing on it. I just want to get through it already. Not a very joyful attitude.

I'm wishing I were somewhere colder. I know that sounds crazy, given that today's high here is going to be in the forties. But, I'm dreaming of tall mountains and deep snow. Loads and loads of beautiful snow that stays for days or weeks. The kind that transforms your town into a brighter, softer version of itself.

That's how I am today. How are you?

In the Neighborhood
My parents' street (but not their house) almost two years ago.

@Ahavah: Ha ha! I think we've had a miscommunication. It's 44F here. So that's roughly 7C. Just a few degrees warmer than what you're experiencing! ;)

Hmm... so its you who is responsible for the snow that's supposed to hit the east coast tomorrow. Looks like you will get your wish!

That beautiful photo makes snow look wonderful. We have a slight chance of getting some tomorrow.

I was in South Dakota this week and it turns out there was more snow here than there. :)

@Jessica: Yeah, I was seriously disappointed by the snow we got here. It basically rained all day. And then it snowed briefly--we got maybe an inch. And it was all melted by the next day. I want a do-over! :)
