Nostalgia
We used to ride the Wave Swinger,
those spinning swings,
late in the afternoon,
after the funnel cakes.
A break between
roller coasters
and water slides.
The swing and sway was
fast enough for fun,
calm enough
to wind us down
and cool our skin
from the sun-salty-heat
of the day.

I like it. And personally, I am over the sun-salty-heat. It has been TOO hot here.
Thanks! This was from a flashback I had today of spending (long) days at Kings Dominion with Jenny & Lisa and their mom. :)
And, oh yeah, it's been HOT! When are you going to take me to your fun YMCA pool? I have a new swimsuit and everything!
